springkink is a fantastic pan-fandom fic and art challenge. There are prompts up for all 31 days of March, and the minimum word count is a very forgiving 100 words! Last time, echoinautumn and I were the only ones prompting and writing for Trek, but it looks like some others joined in for this round, and there are a ton of Trek prompts this time (although it's still a little heavy on Sulu/Chekov, I wonder why :3 ).

This is my favorite fic challenge; it's totally no-pressure and no-commitment, and things can be as short and as filthy as you want. And it's like a month-long Trek orgy! I kind of want to see if I can post something every day in March (prediction: i cannot).

Dear Sulu/Chekov fans,

I am writing to invite you to fight for the honor of Sulu/Chekov! At st_respect, we're holding a friendly and fun competition between all of Star Trek's various ships, to determine who is the real One True Pairing. Clearly, we need to show all those other pairings what we're made of (kittens? rainbows?? unicorns???)!

For Ship Wars, we'll be producing Sulu/Chekov fic, icons, and art to represent our pairing in the competition! We'll also be reading, leaving feedback, cheering each other on, and having awesome Sulu/Chekov parties with deep philosophical discussions, gifs, macros, and probably sparkle text. Just at a guess.

Please consider joining, and inviting your friends! It's not a huge commitment; you don't have to create something for each challenge. Mostly, I just want it to be a fun place for Sulu/Chekov fans to support each other, have a huge party, and prove what a great pairing we are!
